Badminton is an "indoor" racquet sport played using racquets to hit a shuttlecock across a net.

This game is very popular in Europe, Asia, China and Russia. It is an Olympic sport since 1992. 

Currently in Richmond and Henrico County has only two  occasional facilities available (Deep run Park & Eastern Henrico Recreation Center). Unfortunately most of the time these limited facilities are over crowded and gets cancelled due to various reasons.

We have more than 50 members and families actively playing in these packed/crowded environment and looking for more facilities to train their kids  in this up trending game.

Due to its "in-door court" requirement, we request both Richmond and Henrico County to provide a dedicated badminton facility with enough capacity to accommodate at least 50 Players.
