The name of the current center located in the Highland Springs area of Henrico County should be changed to more appropriately reflect the community in which it resides. The name Confederate Hills has a negative connotation and is offensive to the many in the African American community. Henrico County needs to take to concerns of its citizens in to consideration when naming its public buildings/facilities.
