Hands Across Shoop - Sunday, July 26th at 2:00pm on the Wind Point Lighthouse Green

From Joann Sustachek

I have this simple idea that Racine doesn't want or need a luxury golf course to take over the public space given to us by Dr. Shoop. If you are part of the growing number of people concerned with the damage this will cause to the lakefront ecosystem, then join us in a circle of hands on the west lawn of the Wind Point Lighthouse grounds, the location of the future luxury golf course parking lot. We will gather with like-minded people and share why this space is so meaningful to us. I hope this event will create awareness of the destruction of this precious wildlife habitat coming soon to the shoreline of Racine.
