Final Vote on Tuesday, July 21st… keep writing and calling

Hello everyone, the Common Council will take the final vote for the Dune Golf Course on Tuesday, July 21st at 6:00 pm.  Please attend if you are able and please keep writing to the alders to let them know your views.  If it goes through city of Racine residents are basically losing their public park - the gift that  Dr. Shoop gave to us over 100 years ago.   With the parking lot being moved to lighthouse grounds the only way Racine residents can set foot on the property is if they golf.   Trees will be gone, the lighthouse grounds will be a traffic nightmare… it’s wrong for both the Wind Point and Racine communities.
