Hello everyone, thanks so much for signing the petition to help us stop the harmful plan for Shoop Park and Wind Point Lighthouse.  We have 365 signatures so far!  We are grateful for your help!

There has not been a vote yet on the proposal.  It goes before the Trustees in Wind Point first.  There was a meeting on November 5, 2025 that was supposed to be for a vote on whether or not to lease lighthouse grounds for the parking lot and clubhouse.  Fortunately the Wind Point residents who were present brought up important questions.  The trustees were in closed session for 1 1/2 hours after the meeting and realized they needed more information from the developers.  They have not scheduled another meeting so far. 

Thanks again for your help!  Together we can save the trees and protect the lighthouse grounds and protect the integrity of the environment in this beloved place 🌳
