GoodRoots has been part of the Worcester community for the past six years, and during that time it has grown into something that means far more to us than simply being a café.

We’ve built a place where people meet, friendships are made, families spend time together and the local community comes together. From our regular customers and neighbours to our relationships with local organisations, schools, suppliers and other independent businesses, GoodRoots has always been about creating GoodFood, GoodVibes and GoodTimes for the community.

Sadly, our current lease is coming to an end and, as things stand, we have been unable to secure a new lease that would allow GoodRoots to remain in its home.

The impact of GoodRoots leaving would extend far beyond simply losing another independent business. It would mean saying goodbye to a place that has become part of many people's routines and memories, the loss of jobs for a team who have helped make GoodRoots what it is, and the loss of a business that has worked hard to bring people into this part of Worcester and support the wider community around us.

Over the years, we have tried to make GoodRoots a business that gives something back. We've hosted community events, supported local causes, worked alongside neighbouring organisations and businesses, created employment and, most importantly, welcomed thousands of people through our doors.

We don't want that story to end.

We want the opportunity to stay rooted here, continue employing our team and keep building on everything that GoodRoots and the community around it have created together.

We're asking you to sign this petition simply to show that GoodRoots matters to you and that there is genuine community support for finding a way for us to stay.

Every signature, every share and every message of support helps demonstrate what GoodRoots means to Worcester and why we believe it is worth protecting.

Please sign the petition, help us spread the word and help us stay Rooted within the community.

Share your support using #StayRooted and help us show just how much GoodRoots means to the people and community around us.

GoodFood. GoodVibes. GoodTimes. GoodRoots.

Thank you for being part of our story. 💚
