Help Us Save Pickens County Shelter of Hope

Help Us Save Pickens County Shelter of Hope
The Issue
For the past five years, Pickens County Shelter of Hope has been a lifeline for our community. It is the first and only homeless shelter in Pickens County, South Carolina, and every single day it provides a safe place for 50–60 men and women who would otherwise have nowhere to go.
This is where seniors on fixed incomes find safety. Where veterans who served our country find dignity. Where young adults aging out of foster care find stability. Where individuals in recovery find encouragement to keep going.
Pickens County Shelter of Hope is more than walls and a roof — it is a place of compassion, second chances, and healing. It was built with sacrifice, love, and faith so that no one in Pickens County SC would be left alone on the streets.
If this shelter closes, dozens of vulnerable people will be left without help, and our county will lose the only place dedicated to serving them.
We, the undersigned, believe that Pickens County Shelter of Hope must remain open. It is too important to lose. We call on community leaders, partners, and supporters to take action now to ensure the doors stay open and hope continues to live here.
Please sign and share — because hope deserves a home.
