Lemery Park is one of the largest and most beautiful green spaces in our neighborhood — but it’s outdated and underused compared to its true potential. We’re calling on the City of Wyoming, MI to give this beloved park the investment it deserves, and we need your signature to help make it happen.

As neighbors, we know how heavily this park is used by our community. Families walk here daily. Kids ride their bikes and play sports here. Couples walk the trails. Dogs are walked on every path. But what’s missing? A lot.

We’re asking for a revamp that includes: ✅ A modern splash pad for kids and families to enjoy in the summer
✅ A fully updated playground that’s fun, safe, and inclusive for all ages
✅ Covered pavilions with seating for birthday parties, picnics, and watching games
✅ A dog play area with fun obstacle-course-style features
✅ Improved use of the walking trails and the scenic creek that runs through the park
✅ A fresh design that makes Lemery Park a place for everyone — from toddlers to seniors

There are so many families in the neighborhoods surrounding Lemery Park — more than your average area. Streets are full of young children, teens, and families with strollers and dogs. But there’s no water feature for summer, no pavilions for gatherings, and the playground is stuck in the past.

Whether you're a parent, a grandparent, a dog lover, a walker, biker, or someone who just enjoys peaceful nature close to home — this park could be so much more for all of us. With enough signatures, we can show the City of Wyoming that our community is ready, united, and passionate about transforming Lemery Park into a true neighborhood gem.
