This petition is on the focus of rehiring and getting back the Konawaena High School, Track and Field Coach. Coach Wil Silsley

Coach Wil, was fired on April 7th, 2022

The reason Coach Wil was fired was due to not taking a Covid 19 Test. On March 25, 2022 at 11:59 PM when the mandates dropped he stopped getting tested because he thought it was no longer needed.

What has he done for the sports community?

Coach Wil is an alumni from Konawaena High School and he is giving back to his community by coaching student athletes in Track and Field as well as Football. Coach Wil is known for his ability to coach great student athletes and take them far with their sports career. Coach Wil is more than just a coach he is a really big role model to his students athletes. He doesn't just coach he gives us life advice, teaches us how to stay healthy and how to be better people overall. He has know a lot of his athletes since they were in elementary school and has bonded with them. It hurts deeply knowing our coach can't be here to help us achieve and accomplish our goals. The student athletes have been greatly affected and many of us have lost the drive to want to do this sport anymore. We will finish the season strong for him.
