RE: Phillip Clark Watts

On August 3, 1992, Phillip Clark Watts entered Lawrence Robert Harrison's (Hoss) home in Hanford CA. with the intent of robbing him.

He stabbed him multiple times in his face, chest and neck areas. Harrison fought for his life. Lawrence was 82 years old, and Watts was 25. Watts proceeded to kick Harrison's little terrier dog E.T. breaking his ribs and causing a bleed in his eye. Watts then robbed the home of money and possessions. Watts immediately savagely started beating Harrison stabbing him a total of 63 times. 25 stab wounds to his left cheek, a large stab wound to the right cheek extending to the corner of the mouth, 4 stab wounds to the left ear, 8 stab wounds to the neck, 4 stab wounds to the upper pectoral, 3 stab wounds to the left chest 10 stab wounds to the lower left chest, 5 stab wounds to the lower left chest, 2 bite marks in the right shoulder a defensive wound and multiple bruises and abrasions.   

Watts was convicted of first-degree murder with special circumstances. He received a sentenced of 25 years to life 1 extra year for using a knife.

The release of Watts into the community would have a devastating rippling effect. His age at the time of the time of the crime as well as the serious violent offense makes him a man still capable of doing violent harm in the community.

We the undersigned STRONGLY OPPOSE parole for Convicted killer Phillip Clark Watts. Justice demands he serve the sentence of Life given to him at the time of his sentence.   

No family ever needs to be victimized by Phillip Clark Watts again!
