Help us get Shadow back!
The Issue
Deise Animal Sanctuary ( D.A.S ) is an Irish Charity (CHY21017) (CRA 20083755) established in 2010 by Mr/Mrs Rob and Pat Grace. They have dedicated decades to animal welfare and eventually started their own charity high up in the Waterford mountains where the trees touch the sky and the fresh air is second to none. The quiet and peaceful nature of their farm is one that invites so many people from Ireland and abroad to experience.
There first priority has always been to assist lost, hurt or abandon animals.
They are regular recipients of the funding distributed by the Department of Agriculture to all the animal charities. This divvy of funds includes recipients such as the ISPCA, DSPCA and other SPCA's, to say just a few.
Each year all those who receive funding from the department get routine inspections.
It goes without saying, 5 months after D.A.S got their last inspection they were surprised of the raid from the ISPCA in conjunction with the Department of Agriculture onto their farm.
Pat Edwards handed over the dogs willingly, as half were puppies and took the departments comments on board in regards to tidying up the place.
They had a massive clean day, there was constant work being done to meet the verbal guidelines given to Pat. The local Ukrainian refugees came to the sanctuary and worked days, cleaning and painting. It was actually a lovely experience for all involved!
Then one Friday morning, a raid happened again, this time taking the sanctuaries bird of prey and a couple of Pats personal PET LURCHERS, Then another raid happened weeks later, this time they took pats pot belly pig, a lurcher and an Irish Wolf hound - NOTHING was wrong with any of these animals.
The reason why this petition has started now and not earlier, is because this harassment has not stopped – and Pat and Rob thought it would. But they were wrong.
We need your help!

If Shadow was in danger than 1000's of people missed it.... Shadow was the happiest fox in the world until yesterday. And I should know – I’ve met Shadow!
We have 100's of testimony’s to this. We have appealed - but no acknowledgement.
Please we are asking all of Ireland and abroad to help us get to the bottom of this!
