This is a petition that is for the Smith County High School, so that the students can have a GSA (gay/straight alliance). If we get enough signatures we will be able to finally be able to feel safe in this school.  We have many other clubs; it was brought up in our student council meeting and was approved. There are students that are calling us the ‘f-slur’; some have received death threats. Please help us so that we can have our club and let us love who we love without fear of violence. Anything helps. If we don’t get this then any child who shows affection to the same gender will be harassed, discriminated against, and could also lead to suspension. They refuse to talk to us and have denied us our right to our club. Please, we need your support now, more than ever.
