THE URGENT APPEAL:

To the Honorable Chief Justice and Judges of the Supreme Court of India,

We, the undersigned—concerned citizens of India and the global community—urge you to STOP the unscientific mass removal of street dogs.

The "Shelter Order" of November 7 has created a crisis. Without infrastructure, "relocation" has become a humanitarian disaster. Dogs are being dumped in fields, starved in pounds, and beaten in the chaos.

We stand with the Animal Birth Control (ABC) Rules, 2023. The law of the land mandates "Capture, Sterilize, Release." This is the only way to stop the "Vacuum Effect" (where new, aggressive dogs fill the empty space). Removal makes our streets less safe. Sterilization makes them safe.

WE DEMAND:

A Stay on Relocation: Stop the removal until verified, humane shelters are built.
Wartime Sterilization: Shift the budget from "camps" to "clinics."
Transparency: Show us where the dogs are.
