Speak out in our community and help bring back our little home town bar (new location) that has done so very much to help our community during our most tragic time in need by signing this petition. 

Dave and Stacey, who own the Green Turtle Garage Bar are starting the process of trying to open back up after the tragic flood that has hurt so many. As we all know, Dave and Stacey have always ran a good, clean, friendly and respectable business. They completely shut their business down and opened their doors as a 100% donation hub for all of those in need. They were there daylight to dawn helping anyone and everyone. So many local patrons stepped right up to help them make this happen, knowing what great people they are. The local patrons were there day in and day out for weeks helping make sure everyone that crossed their path had everything they needed. Hot food, drinks, snacks, heaters, tents, clothing, you name it, they made it happen. No matter how far they had to drive to get it, they did it.  Our Mayor Joe Grundy stopped by to show his appreciation as well as several other officials. 

When Dave and Stacey saw what their business neighbors were doing to our community and how we were being treated, they STOOD UP FOR OUR COMMUNITY AND STOOD UP TO THOSE BUSINESS OWNERS.  Unfortunately, that resulted in their time being cut short when they made the decision to close their doors to prove that we must do what’s right and stand up for our community. 

We have all been patiently waiting to see when they will re open. They have now found a new location for their business (Green Turtle Bar & Billiards with food and beer) at the old south central fire hall on HWY 107. 

Please help us bring back all of the smiles, laughter, friendly game nights, local musicians that we love hearing, fun karaoke and the love of our local Green Turtle family where everyone helps everyone, by signing this petition and reaching out to our local commissioners to help this process along.
