We’re calling on the Government to urgently bring back the Animal Welfare (Kept Animals) Bill, and we need your help to do it. 

This Bill is essential to help protect countless dogs from horrific mistreatment, but shockingly it has not progressed since November 2021. The Bill, and future legislation under it, would close legal loopholes that allow unscrupulous traders to sell and import dogs with awful mutilations like cropped ears – a cruel and unnecessary procedure. It would also help stop young puppies and pregnant dogs from continuing to be illegally imported.
