The Issue

Second Chance Horse Rescue is a charity located in Malta, passionately dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming needy horses of an average of 100 horses per year!

Our work is being severely restricted due to the lack of adequate space to carry out our operations.  Over the past year, the demand for our services has grown significantly, yet our ability to meet this demand has been limited by our struggle to secure suitable land. We find it increasingly challenging to offer help to more horses or provide them with the quality care they require instead of being put down.

Currently, we do not have stables and our horses are forced to sleep outside in the mud, a situation clearly inadequate and unfair to these animals. Securing a proper land would not only solve these pressing issues but would also allow us to welcome volunteers, enhancing our operations and extend our reach.

Possibly from 40 identified government lands the government does NOT have one for the horses we take in? We are calling for your support to pressure them to find a solution. Each signature represents a vote for the survival and improved treatment of these horses in dire need.

Please lend your voice to our cause. Sign this petition and help us provide a second chance to more horses in need.
