Hey, I go by Melioss online. On September 17th, my Overwatch account was permanently banned over a single playful “fuck you” in chat.

I’ve been playing on this account for over 6 years, it holds every cosmetic, achievement, and rank I’ve ever earned. Losing it would devastate me.

I fully admit what I said, and I regret it. I take accountability, but I believe a permanent ban for this is excessive. I respectfully appealed twice, asking for either an unban or a reduced penalty, but both were denied. Blizzard's Customer Support then told me all future appeals would be ignored.

I also want to highlight that Blizzard's Customer Support is widely known for being extremly strict and unforgiving. And while rules are important I believe players should be given fair opportunities to learn.

I refuse to give up my account easily and will try by all means to get my account back, this is where this petition comes in. I believe with enough voices backing me up Blizzard would be kind enough to give me another chance.
