As parents of students at Legacy Traditional School – North Valley in Las Vegas, Nevada, we want to help create an outdoor space that our students can enjoy for years to come.

Currently, much of our school's outdoor recreation and athletic area consists of dirt. This space is used for recess, physical education, athletics, and school activities, but we believe there is an opportunity to make it safer, more functional, and better suited for the needs of our students, especially in the Las Vegas heat.

Our vision is to transform this area into a space where students can play, grow, and thrive.

We have developed a detailed proposal that includes:

• A multipurpose turf field for recess, PE, soccer, flag football, and other activities
• A running and walking track
• An upgraded playground and improved recreation areas
• Additional shade structures, trees, and landscaping
• Shaded seating, benches, and spectator areas
• Other amenities that support students and school activities

The community is ready to help!

This isn't simply a request for Legacy to fund a major construction project. We are actively exploring business sponsorships, community partnerships, grants, fundraising opportunities, and donated services to help make these improvements possible.

We have already received expressions of interest from local businesses and parents who want to contribute their time, resources, and connections.

We believe that by bringing families, local businesses, school leadership, and community partners together, we can explore a realistic plan to improve our students' outdoor environment.

What are we asking for?

We are respectfully requesting a meeting with Legacy Traditional Schools leadership, North Valley administration, and the appropriate governing representatives to present our proposal and discuss the possibilities.

We are not asking for immediate construction approval or a financial commitment. We are asking for an opportunity to work together, explore potential funding, and determine what steps could make this vision a reality.
