Some of the residents of Weoley Castle believe that there is a HMO being built without relevant planning permissions in place, on Weoley Castle Road / Ilmington Road and without ensuring that all of the legal requirements have been met with regards to work being carried out.

This is not a welcome addition to the neighbourhood and I am hoping to gain the support of the residents of Weoley Castle.

Other HMO's which have been built, have resulted in an increase to the amount of anti-social behaviour in the area and an increase in the need for Emergency Services being called out to the property at all hours of the day and night.

This petition IS NOT about HMO's in general as housing. It is about the legalities around HMO's and ensuring that they are met in line with government guidelines and the law!

Please can you sign this petition which will be handed to Birmingham City Council, to try and prevent retrospective planning permission being given to a property, where the consent was not given by the residents of Weoley Castle for this property to be extended for the purpose of a HMO.
