At the end of December,
our family transported our dog from Russia to the Dominican Republic. The route lay through Turkey. But unfortunately, due to the negligence of Turkish Airlines employees, the dog was not released from the country. Although all the documents were prepared correctly and even the animal transportation companies did not understand what was going on.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Thus, despite assurances of help, the employees left the dog’s cage in the middle of the airport unattended. The couriers had to search for the dog throughout the airport to take him to the dog hotel.
Yes, we were forced to urgently find a hotel for dogs until a solution with transportation was found.

After 3 weeks, we found another company for transporting animals and yesterday, January 22, our dog was supposed to fly out again, but he was refused...
Now our only solution is to extend the dog’s stay at the hotel and find a solution.
So far, due to Turkish Airlines' initial negligence, we have spent $5,000 on transporting our friend.
Unfortunately, now we need more money for new vaccinations for transportation and for tickets. We don't have such an opportunity.
I don’t know what can be done in such a situation, I just want to bring the public’s attention to the negligence of airport employees. About how heartless they can be.
