We support the dedication of a community park on a 20-acre parcel in Hawaiian Paradise Park, on the corner of 26th and Kaloli Drive. This park will improve our physical and psychological health, strengthen our community, and make our neighborhood a more attractive place to live for generations of families.

The County Council recently accepted the park on behalf of the County and the acquisition process is ongoing. The next step will be for the creation of a master plan and input from the community about what features will be included in the park. That is where we are now.

We respectfully request the HPPOA to solicit input to advise the Department of Parks and Recreation on the creation of a park for the public to enjoy.
