Firstly, I want to say thank you to everyone who has signed and shared this petition. I deeply appreciate it. With my recent graduation documents having been officially processed and me receiving them; I think it is best to close this petition. I want to explain, that after a lot of thought and out of respect for my Doc Oc's memory, it will be best to close this petition. Also, after finding out that the latest Sony Spider-Man-related project is (allegedly) disrespecting the late, great Stan Lee's most iconic line within the Spider-Man fandom aka "With great power comes great responsibility", I won't name names because I don't think the upcoming film needs to be bashed or the people working need to be harassed, as that is immature and unhealthy behavior. Please refrain making hit pieces on the film, because of this petition closing. Instead sign Doc Oc's petition and keep his memory alive.
This platform has made me gain more power and for that, I know it is my responsibility to treat it with respect. And that includes the work Stan Lee and Steve Ditko (R.I.P) created a foundation for with their original Spider-Man comic book creations. I am sorry to anyone who I may have disappointed. However, after this email has been sent out on Tuesday, February 6th, 2024, I will be closing this petition.
