Students at Loxford School (Ilford) are being forced to pray their lunchtime prayer in the school car park as headteacher, Anita Johnson, denies them the right to pray during the holy month of Ramadan.

These daily prayers were previously accomodated during students’ lunch hour on school grounds as a religious expression which is considered to be not disruptive nor inconvenient.

Please sign the petition to show Anita Johnson that this is unacceptable as pupils should be allowed privacy and a place to continue their daily prayers. By allocating a multi-faith room for the pupils at the school will ensure students (of all religions) to practice their faith freely in order to promote a healthier, indiscriminate community for our children to live in.
