Imagine for a moment, how you would feel if this was your dog

Please help this man get his family member back. Her name is Stormy,   This man has been searching for his dog for several months. In that time he learned that Stormy was at the Devore Animal Shelter, a shelter that is out of his area and almost 40 minutes away from his home. When he learned of this he immediately contacted that shelter and was told she was no longer there and there was nothing the shelter could do to help him. Pawsitive Tails to Remember had pulled Stormy for Miracle Foundation SD and they have been taking care of her since she was pulled.

Since Stormy was pulled from the Devore Animal Shelter on March 14th, she has been cared for by Stephani Rizo, the founder of Miracle Foundation SD. When Stormy was pulled, the intent was, Pawsitive Tails was going to do a rescue to rescue transfer of Stormy from their rescue to Miracle Foundation SD. The paperwork was never completed. Stormy stayed in Stephanie Rizo, Miracle Foundation SD.  Stormy  Stormy was being networked on social media by Terri McCabe,  Pawsitive Tails To Remember, as being stolen with a $2,000 bounty on her. A friend of Stormy's family saw one of the post and shared the photo being networked with Stormys family. Stormy's family found and made contact with Stephani Rizo, who had been nurturing and taking care of Stormy in her home since she was pulled from the Devore Animal Shelter. Miracle Foundation has been working with the owner to reunite Stormy with her family. Because of the bounty on Stormy, Her family now feared for her safety.

Last Friday, Stormy was stolen from Stephani Rizo's home. When she went looking for her, Stormy was found as being turned into the Bonita Animal Shelter, a shelter which is near her home. Upon hearing this, Stormy's original owner called the shelter, stating he was her owner and they requested that he bring paperwork to the shelter to provide verification of ownership. The owner drove several hours to get to the shelter before they closed that day, thinking he was going to bring his girl home. He provided them with vet records and documentation showing proof that he was the original owner of Stormy. They made an appointment for him to meet with the shelter the following morning. The following morning the shelter called very early and cancelled that appointment. Later it was found out that the shelter is holding Stormy on a 10 day chip hold. Because Stormy was pulled by Pawsitive Tails to Remember from the Devore Animal Shelter, they need to relinquish their rights for Stormy so this man can take his sweet girl home.

Stormy's dad is beyond devastated and can barely speak without tearing up. He drove over 4 hours to the Bonita Animal Shelter to get to his girl. He brought her harness with him. In his mind she was finally coming home with him. He loves his dog. The entire family loves her. She has been with this family for over 8 years since she was bottle fed as a puppy by her family. She is a much loved member of this family. This man has suffered tremendous loss in the last year. Stormy helps him get thru each and every day.

Terri McCabe of Pawsitive Tails to Remember, has the ability to allow this man to take his girl Stormy back to her family and the only home she has ever known. In the name of Good Rescue, we are asking Terri McCabe of Pawsitive Tails to Remember to do right by Stormy and her family. Allow Stormy to be released from the Bonita Animal Shelter and returned to her family. This mans heart is beyond broken. He deserves to be able to take Stormy home. Stormy deserves to go home to her family, the only family and home she has ever known. At the end of the day, what is rescue really all about. It is not about breaking up or destroying a family. It is about helping those in need, both the animals and their families. It is about leading with love   kindness and having the compassion to do the right thing. #dorightbystormy #letstormygohome #helpstormygohome
