Dear Supporters
The planning committee meeting will be held at Epping Forest District Council Civic Offices in Epping on Wednesday the 21st of January at 7pm. We would like to invite as many of our supporters as possible to attend this meeting to help give councilors a true impression of the weight of local opposition to this proposed scheme.
At the meeting we will have an opportunity to summarise the reasons for our objections via our nominated spokesperson and we will seek to impress upon councilors that there are solid legal planning arguments that support our objection and their refusal. These arguments will be spelt out in a communication pack that will be sent to them prior to the meeting.
Emotions are naturally running high but we need to make sure that we maintain our professionalism and composure if we are to give ourselves the best chance of success. All those attending the council meeting should do so with that approach in mind. This is not an opportunity to “protest”, but is a chance to show councillors just how strong the opposition is.
Please join the Stapleford Tawney residents group in person to show how passionately opposed so many of us are to the location this proposed scheme.
Thank you for again for supporting our campaign.
