What a fabulous result for all the supporters of the Help Stop Thrift Solar Farm campaign.  Over 45 supporters attended the Epping Forest council planning meeting on Wednesday this week and they were  all overjoyed when councillors voted in support of the campaigns objection to the planning application. 

A huge thank you to all the councillors who supported our views on the night and also our supporters, who have tirelessly helped to raise awareness of the threat to this beautiful part of the Epping Forest District during these last few months.

We will keep the petition going as there is a distinct possibility the developer will appeal to the planning inspectorate, in which case we may need your support again in the future.
