HELP STOP the Ridgeview West CREMATORIUM, Frisco TX
The Issue
HELP STOP the Ridgeview West CREMATORIUM currently under construction at 7800 Sanctuary Drive in Frisco from opening in close proximity to our residential neighborhoods, churches, schools, and parks -putting our children and families safety, health, and home values at risk.
Frisco residents should not be forced to endure continued exposure to dangerous chemicals, carcinogens, neurotoxins, fumes, black smoke from cremated human remains, and other toxic pollutants from a proposed cremation facility off of Eldorado in between Rogers and North County Rd -behind St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church and minutes from downtown Frisco and FC Dallas Toyota Stadium.
Ridgeview West Memorial Park Cemetery (Turretine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home) was quietly granted a commercial building permit for what many thought would be a chapel. Frisco residents are just now becoming aware and are outraged that a CREMATORY has been under construction in a highly residential part of Frisco.
This proposed cremation facility will also affect hundreds of children as it is across from Warren Sports Complex - a busy public park which routinely hosts large numbers of children and families. Kids especially shouldn’t suffer life-long health effects from being exposed to any amount of mercury, carcinogens, smoke, fumes, odors and toxins emitted from burning human remains while they play outside for their soccer or baseball team.
Please SIGN THE PETITION and ask Frisco City Council and Mayor Jeff Cheney to immediately take action to REVOKE the construction permit and demand the proposed crematorium business at 7800 Sanctuary Drive be relocated to an area where children and families are not at risk in their own homes, schools, places of worship, or sports fields.
