During Hurricane Andrew, in 1992, it is believed that 6 Lionfish were accidentally released into the ocean, and quickly grew into a massive problem. There is no way to completely eliminate the species, but the population can be controlled with your help. As long we as a community spear them and remove them, we can control the growth and minimize their destruction to the ocean. Thank you.
