SMART was approved by the voters in 2008 and currently the Marin terminus is in San Rafael. The City has been working closely with SMART and the other transit organizations to ensure the least amount of disruption when the trains start to run this spring. Having said that, there are Council and community concerns which will be discussed in a public study session on Thursday January 19th from 5 - 7pm in the San Rafael City Hall council chambers.
