Amazon said in a statement released to the public, "the program has not grown to create the impact that we had originally hoped. With so many eligible organizations—more than 1 million globally—our ability to have an impact was often spread too thin."

Of the millions that have been donated, how can they say it has not helped the animals in need.  Does Amazon think that helping less than what they consider "acceptable" a reason to de-fund its charitable giving to these organization - chosen by us as the recipients every time we make a purchase using AmazonSmile.  Making them richer in the process.

However, some organizations — especially small ones — say the donations were incredibly helpful to them. And many shoppers who use AmazonSmile have expressed their dismay on social media and shared the impact the program has had on the charities they support.

We must continue to be the voice of animals and their plight against abuse of every kind.

PLEASE sign this petition and help let them understand this matters to us and that we want to see this charitable giving to continue and not remove the option to help animal charities every time we make a purchase on Amazon - or your charity of choice.  IT ALL MATTERS!
