Thanks to nearly 27,000 of you who signed, shared, and spoke out, we're turning momentum into action.
Since launching the GLP-1 Collective, the nonprofit has grown faster than we ever imagined. We’ve been featured in 7 media outlets, received hundreds of comments from people desperate for help, and started building something to meet the need we hear every day.
📣 Today, we’re announcing our flagship initiative in development:
GLP-1 Access Now — a secure, nonprofit-led assistance program designed to help people pay for their GLP-1 medications when insurance, PBMs, and price tags say no.
We’ve watched tirzepatide access vanish, and we know semaglutide may be next. That’s why the first mission is simple: help cover out-of-pocket costs for the people left behind.
The program structure includes:
- A HIPAA-compliant intake portal
- Manual prescription verification
- Reloadable prepaid cards for eligible members
- A waitlist and recheck system to ensure fairness
❗Important note: Applications are not yet open. The program cannot launch until the minimum financial threshold is reached. There is no guarantee of when, or if, this will officially begin — but the groundwork is being laid.
💙 You helped us get here.
Now we ask you to keep sharing, stay engaged, and spread the word. Access isn’t a luxury. It’s a right.
