Wilby Primary School, a cherished institution that has been nurturing young minds since 1854, is facing a relocation to a newly built school on the Glenvale estate. At the core of Wilby village, this school offers a unique and intimate learning environment that cannot be replicated in the proposed large capacity school.

The new school's distant location, just over 3 miles away, raises concerns as it leaves no school within safe walking distance from our village. The proposed relocation threatens to dismantle the soul of our community, putting the village preschool at risk and diminishing its appeal to young families looking to settle in this area.
