UVM and Ben and Jerry's have decided to close the Ben & Jerry's scoop shop on campus, the most iconic dining option we have here at UVM, at the end of the 2017 spring semester. With their delicious options for a hot summer day, or even for the toughest of us, a cold winter day, Ben & Jerry's has made their home here at UVM. They have been with us through the good times, the rough stretches of midterm and finals weeks, and the days where we just need a pick-me up. I like to think of Ben and Jerry as personal friends, neighbors, and the best therapists anyone could ever have. 

It would be a shame to see such a symbolic piece of Vermont and UVM's history leave our beloved campus. Please, sign this petition to let UVM dining's General Manager Keith Waterfield, President of UVM Tom Sullivan, and Ben and Jerry's main offices know that we will not let Ben & Jerry's go without a fight.
