I have been working on this project since 2021. I learned about this in my science class and since then, I have been extremely passionate about it. Big chicken companies are causing chicken poop to go into the Potomac river. Biomass would change that. Biomass is: Agricultural residues. Crop residues include all sorts of agricultural waste such as straw, bagasse, stems, leaves, stalks, husks, pulp, shells, peels, animal waste. Various animal wastes are suitable as sources of energy, forest residues, Industrial wastes and solid waste and sewage. These products can be decomposed and methane gas comes off of it. This methane can be burned and turned into steam to power a generator. We must stop this if we want to keep the Potomac river clean and fishing industries alive.
