The City of Leduc has a homelessness challenge, with nearly 100 local people needing shelter every day.

For more than 14 years, the Leduc HUB has been part of the solution to end homelessness by offering support and emergency shelter beds. We’ve done this with the generous support of people like volunteers, donors, municipal and provincial leaders, and regional stakeholders.

And yet, the HUB is in danger of closing. We need time to find a new home. We need our leaders to help prevent Leduc from losing essential social services. 

If the City of Leduc shuts the doors on the Hub, it will open the gates to more encampments. Encampments aren’t safe and draw valuable resources from Leduc’s social and police services.

Let’s give Leduc Council and business leaders the opportunity to show leadership, compassion and commitment to end homelessness in Leduc.
