Thank you for your ongoing support in the efforts to save the Halifax Memorial Library from demolition. There are some important dates to note. On Monday, May 11th, The Friends of the Halifax Memorial Library will be addressing the North West Community Council at 6 PM. Additionally, on May 21st at 10 AM, we will be presenting to the Community Planning and Economic Development Standing Committee (CPED). CPED will be reviewing a report that could lead to the final steps in demolishing the library. Therefore, it is crucial for you to write in, attend, or speak at these committees. The public is allowed to speak at both committees. If you wish to present, please contact the clerk's office at clerks@halifax.ca. To enter City Hall, ensure you have two valid photo government IDs, as there is a metal detector at the front door.
