The people who are wanting this destructive path built pushing for the Joint Collier and Lee County MPO approval a resolution that would put ROGG on a list to secure funding. Major efforts are being made to restore the Florida Everglades, yet special interest groups want to build this path along one of the very routes that is in an area that is a part of Everglades Restoration We must continue to get more signatures to let the decision maker know this path is not ideal for the health of the Everglades. Paths such as this are need within urban areas for their is need for safer cycling not out in the middle of a World UNESCO Heritage Site.
