This place needs to be shut down! Hello, my name is Aliza Sanchuk and i have made this petition, to help the animals be heard. At the North Point Flea Market, there has been Multiple pictures posted from the flea market there is a Chameleon, that is extremely skinny and looks lethargic. There is a Leopard Gecko that is all skin and bones. A water monitor that has been in the Flea Market for over months and is in a tank that is not suitable for a good "temporary home". There were turtles their shells were rotting there was 2 in a very small tank and the water was uncleaned. There were bunnies that were under 8 weeks old, and they were taken from their mom, so they are lacking the nutrients that is needed for them, so they are getting sick and dying, there is no hay in the bunnies or guinea pigs' cages. There was a mouse trap that was right under the bird's cage that was there for multiple days because the mouse that was on there was already dead and starting to decay. With this flea market also being near food. Since the cages/tanks in this "pet shop" are uncleaned, it draws Mice, and other unwanted and unhealthy rodents. So this is also a health concern that is in place with our community. DNR, PETA and Animal Control has been called numerous times they have said that they can't do anything because this is only their temporary homes, but when they reach their "forever homes" with multiple comments, they have passed away within a week, and the Flea market Tries to replace and give them another animal. With this all being said let's be the voices of the animals!!
