Today our landlords Ashfield District Council have served notice to terminate our licence and vacate our much loved, popular and essential community cafe at Sutton Lawn all within a time frame of 8 days. Rumbles Catering Project are a charity that has been established for over 25 years and have provided countless placements over that time for many local people who have learning disabilities and / or other social disadvantages. 
We provide an essential service to the community by giving people the opportunity to work as part of a thriving team of small community orientated staff who serve the community daily and have done at our Sutton Lawn Cafe for the last 15 years! We have a waiting list of people who need our services that far exceed our capabilities but we strive to look after as many people as possible and to help provide them with essential life skills, confidence building and work based team experience. Ultimately our aim is to enable our beneficiaries to have gained enough experience whilst with us that they may go onto secure future employment….and a happy, healthy, inclusive lifestyle as a valuable member of society!
