Tonight, Louisiana citizens will gather in Oberlin to send a powerful message: we will not let corporate giants silence our communities.

Allen Parish made headlines as one of the first parishes to stand up to Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) projects. Their local leaders passed a bold ordinance to protect their land, water, and people from massive industrial projects.

Now, ExxonMobil—one of the largest corporations on Earth—is suing the Police Jury simply for doing their job and defending their citizens.

This isn’t just about Allen Parish. When one parish is sued for standing up to corporate overreach, every parish in Louisiana is at risk.

Tonight’s rally isn’t just a meeting. It’s a movement. We’re coming together to show ExxonMobil and every corporation trying to intimidate our communities that Louisiana’s strength lies in its people, not in corporate boardrooms.
