We are once again trying to keep Howe Elementary  open. Back in 2005 we worked hard and saved it from closing, and are hoping we can do it again. Howe is not only a landmark for the Indian Hills neighborhood, but home to many kids that feel safe and loved there, because of the wonderful staff and teachers. Although the schoolboards new plan is a good one, it will in fact mean that Howe will be one that will close, and it has went from five years to not really knowing when.
