Historic Henry's Tacos Betrayed by Owner Hood

Jan 21, 2013 — A source reveals that L.A. Magazine plans to run a story on the truth about what really happened to Henry's Tacos. Over one year ago, owner Janis Hood put out an emergency call to fans and the community to help her "Save Henry's Tacos" claiming the landlord was the enemy and later blaming Councilman Krekorian for not 'saving' Henry's. She said she needed to find a buyer, because she was done with HT and wanted to retire. Several serious buyers stepped forward, only to be denied after stalling tactics, flimsy excuses, and wasting large sums of money in the process. MANY people rallied tirelessly to help "save" HT, but in the end it was none other than Janis Hood herself who betrayed her grandfather, mother, the community, and everyone she used for her own personal reasons and gain. Hood is responsible for iconic Henry's Tacos closing its doors. FACT: A NEW 20-year lease was in place and Hood REFUSED to sign the non-compete clause in the buyer's agreement. Think about that. Stay tuned...
