Help Save Family Farms, Return Our Animals & Exonerate Robert Hoover of False Allegations
The Issue
Help Exonerate Robert Hoover and Save Family Farms in Davie, Florida
Town of Davie Officials, Broward County Commission, and State of Florida Agricultural Authorities
Family Farms in Davie, Florida, has been wrongfully shut down and its animals seized based on false allegations. Robert Hoover, the farmer who has cared for these animals and educated our community for years, is facing charges that are simply not true. We demand his immediate exoneration and the safe return of the animals to their rightful home.
Family Farms has been a cornerstone of our community for years — a place where children, families, and schools come to learn about farm life, connect with animals, and build memories that last a lifetime.
Robert Hoover, the heart and soul of Family Farms, comes from generations of farming families. His mission has always been to care for animals, teach sustainable agriculture, and give our community a place to experience the beauty and value of farm life.
Recently, Robert has been targeted with false allegations. In an unnecessary show of force, the Town of Davie entered Family Farms with SWAT teams and assault rifles. They arrested Robert, detained his family and staff, and seized all the farm animals — animals who were healthy, well-cared-for, and deeply loved.
Our Animals Include:
Cows: Chocolate, Cocoa, Mocha (all over 20 years old) and Buttercup, a rescued Brahma calf
Ponies: Sugar, Daisy, Patches, and Cupcake
Pigs: Rocky, Peppa, Ivy, and Marshmallow
Goats: Percy, Blu, Ellie May, and a billy goat
Ram: Milkshake
Chickens: A variety that have been part of the farm for years
These animals are family. They are not just livestock, they are part of our community’s story. They have helped teach children the value of compassion, hard work, and respect for life.
Without Family Farms, generations of children will lose the opportunity to learn about where food comes from, how to care for animals, and what it means to live in harmony with nature.
Our goal:
1. The immediate exoneration of Robert Hoover from all false charges.
2. The safe return of all animals to Family Farms.
3. An official apology from the Town of Davie for the wrongful seizure and excessive use of force.
WHY THIS MATTERS
This is more than a farm — it’s a safe, educational, and loving environment that has shaped countless lives. The destruction of Family Farms is a blow to our community and to the values of truth, fairness, and compassion.
We must stand up against false allegations, overreach, and injustice. If this can happen to Robert Hoover, it can happen to any small farmer, anywhere.
