A Very Brief Update

I am sorry - but this is going to a busy few days of updates as we are about to enter Hedgehog Awareness Week ... this is brief though - just two things that THIS petition has helped make happen ...

First was this morning - I got to be on with Chris Packham and Megan McCubbin on their wonderful wildlife show. I got to promote the petition and Chris tweeted about us as well ... which has lead to over a thousand new signatories (THANK YOU!). If you missed it, the entire run of shows is archived on Youtube ... and here is this morning's (I start at around 15 minutes in if you are really only interested in hedgehogs!)

Secondly - the phenomenal bundle of energy Robin Ince has invited me to join his Stay At Home Festival - which will be live at 3pm on Sunday 3rd May - a rather exciting start to Hedgehog Awareness Week!

Oh - and a question for you - I have been interviewed by Talk Radio and there has been lots in the press - about people seeing more mating hedgehogs in their gardens ... and it was suggested that this was thanks to the lockdown making things more peaceful ...Have any of you seen more action in your gardens of late? It is only every going to take place if there are hedgehog highways in place so that is good ... my suspicion is that actually this is about people spending more time in their gardens and noticing what is going on ... what do you think?

Please keep safe - and be gentle with your gardens ... and their wonderful inhabitants!
