Pine tree plantings have begun in Siberia!
A Russian airline has raised funds to plant 1 Million pines.

I have contacted them and enquired whether non-Russians can join their tree planting efforts. Any answer I get, I will let you know :)

Meanwhile, no sign yet from the authorities that I have contacted in August. But I keep the faith!
