I am an individual who has witnessed first-hand the struggles and suffering of animals in captivity. The sight of these sentient creatures living their lives in isolation, devoid of their natural habitats, is incredibly saddening.

The issue extends beyond my personal experiences. According to the World Animal Protection organization, thousands of zoos worldwide hold hundreds of thousands of birds and mammals in captivity. And according to the WDC, there are at least 3,600 whales and dolphins held in captivity. These animals are often kept in conditions that fail to meet their physical and psychological needs (World Animal Protection). 

We need your help to make a difference for these innocent beings who cannot speak up for themselves. Please sign and share this petition urging lawmakers around the country to enact stricter regulations on animal captivity and work towards creating more humane alternatives such as wildlife sanctuaries, preserves or rehabilitation centers where animals can live out their lives more freely and happily.
