Many of us have experienced some form of anxiety whether it is before giving a speech, taking a test etc. But imagine have that feeling as a part of your everyday decision making. Yet that is the reality of about 47% of students in the Indianapolis area alone.  There is something clearly wrong with what is going on in schools if that many students are facing this problem. Having anxiety affects your ability to concentrate in class thus making it so that many students are unable to perform activities and assignments to the best of their ability. If there isn't a  change made right now that percentage will only increase, and that reality is extremely daunting for our future as a society. School should be a place where learning is desired not something that should cause extra stress on students. If doing little changes in the classroom can help, what's stopping you from joining the cause now.
