For generations, Sarasota Jungle Gardens has been the heart and history of this community.

Every day, we welcome schoolchildren, charities, local families, and visitors from near and far. We provide jobs for our staff, a safe home for animals in need, and a place where people from all ages can learn, connect, and make memories. 

But now, this historic property is facing a serious threat. A challenge by a small group could weaken our ability to remain here and open the door to future redevelopment. 

That would not only hurt Sarasota Jungle Gardens-it would hurt the community, our animals, our employees, and the families who have loved this place for generations.
