🛑 Help Protect Milford’s Public Schools! 🛑

The Issue

The Milford Board of Education’s adopted budget has been cut by $1.287 million.  Sign the petition and spread the word: April 10th at City Hall at 6 pm is the ONLY public hearing.

What’s at risk?

- Forced school closure

- Teacher layoffs

- Losing programs we’ve worked hard to build:

  - STEM labs in elementary schools

  - World languages in middle schools

  - Advanced Placement (AP) classes in high school

  *(and more)*

What can you do?

✅ Sign this petition and share it!

✅ Come to City Hall on Thursday, April 10 for the ONLY public hearing

   🕠 Rally at 5:30pm

🕕 Public hearing starts at 6:00pm

📍Bring a friend, wear red, and speak up (or just show up!)

✅ Text your friends and neighbors—help spread the word!

This is a big blow —the budget was trying to cover rising costs, state mandates, and federal funding losses.

This is your chance to tell the city why strong schools matter. We need thoughtful planning, not last-minute cuts. This process should not undermine the long-range planning for our school buildings. Let’s protect the future of Milford’s students.

Your voice matters. Your story is powerful.

✍️ Sign now and stand with Milford students, teachers, and families.

P.S. This is not a request for donations! Note that all funds go to change.org. Just spread the word far and wide!
