The Issue

🚸 Make Sanctuary Cove Safer 🚸— Install Stop Signs at the intersection of Shadybrook Dr and Spectrum Rd (Shadybrook/Saltmarsh on gps)

We, the (concerned) residents of Sanctuary Cove, are calling for the installation of two stop signs at the intersection of Shadybrook Drive and Spectrum Road.

This intersection and road is a safety concern for our community. Many drivers speed along Shadybrook Drive, creating a dangerous situation for families, children, and pedestrians. With so many kids walking, riding bikes, and playing nearby, it’s only a matter of time before a preventable accident happens.

The cost of installing these stop signs has already been estimated at about $400, making this a simple, affordable, and effective way to improve safety.

We have brought this request to the HOA board in the past, but no action has been taken as the decision is still up to Berkeley county and the builder. This petition will show widespread support from our community so they understand that residents want — and expect — action now.

Please sign and share to help us make Sanctuary Cove safer for everyone.

TL;DR: Two stop signs at Shadybrook & Spectrum = slower cars, safer residents, minimal cost — let’s make it happen.
